With over 25 years of experience in radio and entertainment, Brian Dawson has built a respected reputation as one of the SouthEast’s most recognizable names as a DJ and host.

In recent years, he’s expanded his reach internationally and brought some of the hottest vibes and sounds with him. Brian’s love for AfroBeats made him a natural fit to be one of the founding members of AfroVibe Medellin.

What does my payment include?

Your stay at one of Medellin's amazing 4-star or 4-star hotel properties with complimentary breakfast served daily, entry to themed parties with round-trip transportation, Guatape Day Trip with breakfast and lunch included, Yacht pre-sunset party with 2 drinks, Comuna 13 Graffiti Tour, and Super Bowling Finale Party with lane, shoes, and welcome drink included.

The booking site only has an option for 4 nights, what if I only want to stay 3?

You are welcome to arrive on Wednesday or depart on Tuesday. However, we are only offering the 4-night stay at a budget-friendly price.

How old do you need to be to attend AfroVibe Medellin?

21 years or older.

Is there cell phone service in Colombia?

Yes, and WiFi too. Check with your provider for coverage and rates. Most offer international data passes.

What Airport do I fly into?

Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE). The scenic ride to the hotel takes approximately 35–45 minutes.

Can I pay in installments?

When is the deadline to secure my place?

No fixed deadline, but spots are limited. Booking starts July 15, 2026. Once sold out, you can join the waitlist.

Two amazing properties in the heart of Poblado, Medellin. Hotel names will be shared 30 days before the event.

Valid US Passport. No Covid-19 test required.

How much can I expect to spend per day?

Depends on your style and preferences. BudgetYourTrip.com suggests a minimum of $45/day.

What is the weather like in Medellin?

Consistently pleasant: low to mid 80s by day, mid 60s to low 70s by night. This event avoids rainy months.

How much are excursions?

Two excursions are included in your package. Others average around $70 depending on the activity.
